Eat in the street is returning on May 27th!

The City of Cohoes and Cohoes Local Development Corporation are excited to bring back by popular demand "Eat in the Street" on Friday Nights starting on May 27th. Come downtown from 5-9pm to eat and drink on historic Remsen Street at one of over a dozen participating restaurants and breweries.

Today the Cohoes Local Development Corporation presented a check in the amount of $500 from the Soup Stroll proceeds to the Cohoes Fire Department Cheer for Children toy drive.

Come down this Saturday to "Souper" Small Business Saturday for the shopping, dining, and soup stroll. The map of vendors and full details are below for the event that runs 10am-4pm. At 5pm the Tree Lighting in Silliman Park gets underway. It's going to be a great weekend in Cohoes!

Small Business Saturday is just around the corner and once again Cohoes is the place to be.

1️⃣ More than a dozen restaurants from around the city will converge on Remsen Street for a soup stroll, just $10 per person to sample all of the offerings!

2️⃣ Cohoes retail stores and pop-up vendors will offer you a great opportunity to start your holiday shopping with wares ranging from candles and scarves to one of a kind art. (We are still accepting vendor applications, if you want to participate download yours at www.explorecohoes.com)

3️⃣ Restaurants will be open and serving lunch and dinner specials all day long!

4️⃣ The Lights! The garlands will be up over Remsen Street and the tree will be lit in Silliman Park at 5pm. Gifts for kids and a visit from the man in red cap off the evening!
