The goal of our social media pages is to focus on celebrating and supporting our schools, students and teachers, as well as sharing important news and communicating event information. By pa
rticipating you are taking personal responsibility for your comments, your username and any information provided. We reserve the right to delete comments or topics if needed. We invite staff, students, families, and the community to join the conversation by liking, commenting and sharing on our pages. We ask that users abide by the following guidelines:
Share your comments. Comments and posts must be appropriate for an educational environment and for community members of all ages. Keep comments and posts related to the news and stories shared by the district. We encourage you to invite others who care about our district and his/her student's education to follow us on Facebook. Personal attacks or comments that are deemed offensive to any member of the school district or community will not be tolerated. Inappropriate remarks and profanity will be removed. Contact us directly. These platforms are not intended to circumvent regular communication channels for sharing personal issues and concerns. While the district makes every effort to respond to direct questions in a timely manner, comments regarding a personal issue with the district, a school or staff member will be removed. If you have a personal issue or concern and wish to share it please contact district staff directly, or email communications[at]dc.k12.mn.us, and we will do our best to address it. No selling or promoting. We do not permit messages selling products or promoting commercial or other ventures. Dassel-Cokato Schools encourage user interaction on its social pages, but is not responsible for comments or wall postings made by visitors to the page. Additionally, the appearance of external links, as posted by fans of this page or other social media users, does not constitute endorsement on behalf of Dassel-Cokato Schools. In most if not all cases, external links posted by fans will be removed.
