Our seniors kicked off the first day of their final high school chapter with a sunrise breakfast this morning. Between the golden glow, the early morning fog, and great company, it was the perfect way to start the year.

We are thrilled to welcome our students back! As we kick off the new school year, we want to ensure our Before and After School Program (BASP) runs as safely and smoothly as possible for every family.

Tonight there was football game in Colby, & usually the battle on the field between Abbotsford & Colby would be the major focal point of the evening.

But tonight, while the game was still important, the people of Abbotsford and Colby also focused on helping those who are directly dealing with the loss of Adam Massman - a young man who passed away after sustaining injuries in a high school football game last week.

Tonight, our two communities came together to raise $6090 in donations - and 100% of the money donated tonight will go to the family of Adam Massman.

THANK YOU to everyone who raised awareness of this event and/or helped in any way to make this total possible.

REMINDER! Chromebook Insurance payment is due on or before September 1st, 2026 at 4:00 pm. If you have not paid yet and are paying by cash/check you can pay in your student's office. If you would like to make this payment ONLINE through your Infinite Campus Parent Portal, call the secretary in your child's building so they can apply this fee to your student's account. This fee MUST BE PAID by 4:00 pm on Sept. 1st, 2026 in order to have Chromebook Insurance for the 26-27 school year.

Is your child up to date with school required vaccines? The Clark County Health Department is holding an upcoming clinic on Wednesday, September 23rd from 3:30-5:30 in the Colby High School theater. There will also be another Community Health & Resource Fair offered at St. Bernards Church in Abbotsford on October 8th from 1:00-5:00pm. Check out the flyers for detailed information.
