Procrastination Animation

Procrastination Animation Priorities? Deadlines? Due Dates? You still have time to accomplish all of those things and you're already on Facebook. Come procrastinate with me.

Procrastination Animation officially started while I was a cashier for a local supermarket... I really hated that job. I mean, really hated. Just day after day after day, repeating the same motions, blocking any and all creativity. It became so mindless and robotic to me that I started drawing myself as a robot in my little notebook as a form of escapism. I remember that my bosses didn't care much

for the fact that I drew on the job. Then when I went to school I decided to bring the Robot with me. I didn't actually get the comic writing job the first time I applied. I remember I received a really generic, "We don't want your services" kind of reply without any advice or comment from the editor that reviewed my submissions. Luckily that editor left after that semester and I immediately sent my comics to the new editor

And he loved em'. (Don't give up on your dreams kids!)

So there I was. Finally writing for an actual publication...but still had just as much viewership as my little notebook. I once drew an advertisement for one of my classes, and when a group-mate complemented me on my artistic ability I suggested she check out my comics in the paper. To which she replied, "Our paper has a comic section?"

Nice. No worries, though. I like to think I have a dedicated seven followers. Here's to number eight.
