The boil water notice for Champlain Water District customers impacted by yesterday's water service interruption has now been lifted.

Below is a message from Champlain Water District regarding an ongoing water service interruption in Town:

Colchester Water System is experiencing a service interruption from Bay Road at the interstate overpass to the end of East Lakeshore Drive, including Williams Road and all areas served by these roads. We are onsite and working on the situation and will share more information as it becomes available.

Please reference the blue highlighted section of the map below to see if your property is in the affected area.

An update from Champlain Water District (CWD):

Yesterday, CWD placed boil water notices on the doors of properties impacted by yesterday's water service interruption.

As of today (5.28.26), only customers of CWD on the following streets are under a boil water notice:

East Lakeshore Drive
Bay Road (from the interstate overpass to E. Lakeshore)
Goodsell Point
Hill Spring Lane
Bay Ridge Estate
Harvest Lane
Suncrest Terrace
Rea Janet Drive
Lone Birch Street
Sandy Shore Terrace
Tamorac Place
Churchill Lane
Colchester Recreation Center

We will communicate with you as soon as the boil water notice has been lifted.

The areas affected are from Bay Road at the interstate overpass to the end of East Lakeshore Drive, including Williams Road and all areas served by these roads. Please note, the Colchester Town Offices and Burnham Memorial Library will be closed Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day.

The Colchester Recreation Center will close at 12:30 PM on Monday, May 25.
