Our Military Kids is a nonprofit organization that provides free extracurricular activity scholarships for the children (ages 1-18) with a parent deployed in the National Guard or Reserve, or who are being treated for combat-related wounds, illnesses, or injuries from any branch of service!

Military Appreciation Night is returning to Centennial Field!
Join us on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, as the Vermont Lake Monsters take on the New Britain Bees for an evening of baseball, family fun, and celebration of our military community.
In addition to the game, be sure to visit the VTNG Family Programs resource tents, where you'll find activities, giveaways, and opportunities to connect with programs and services available to military families.

Quality childcare support is available for eligible military families through the Military Child Care in Your Neighborhood (MCCYN) Army Fee Assistance Program.
This program helps offset the cost of community-based childcare when military-based care is unavailable due to distance or waitlists. Families can apply through MilitaryChildCare.com to determine eligibility and request assistance.
