A few additional spots have opened up for our Military Family Summer Day Camp at Hosmer Point, and we don't expect them to last long!

Join us on Wednesday, August 19, for a day of outdoor adventure, water activities, games, nature exploration, and lunch. It's a great opportunity for military families to unplug, connect, and make lasting summer memories together.

This event is open to families of currently serving Vermont Army National Guard members, with a limited number of sponsored spots available for families of currently serving members from other military branches.

🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day from the Vermont Army National Guard Child & Youth Program! 🇺🇸

As we celebrate the Fourth of July, we honor the courage, commitment, and sacrifice of the Soldiers who serve our nation and the families who stand beside them every step of the way.

Today, we extend a special thank you to our military children and youth. Your resilience, strength, and unwavering support are an essential part of our National Guard community. We are proud to serve and support you throughout every stage of your military journey.

As you gather with family and friends to celebrate our nation's independence, we wish you a safe, happy, and memorable holiday filled with pride, gratitude, and time together.

It’s that time again!🇺🇸✈️

The Vermont Air National Guard plans to conduct an F-35 flyover on July 4, 2026, in celebration of Independence Day and the 250th anniversary of the United States.

The flyover is scheduled to feature four F-35A Lightning II aircraft from the Vermont Air National Guard’s 158th Fighter Wing, flying a route that will allow communities throughout Vermont and neighboring regions to participate in the commemoration.

Calling all military-connected teen athletes!

As part of America's 250th Birthday celebration, the 2026 Patriot Games is giving outstanding students ages 14-17 the opportunity to compete for a share of $250,000 in scholarship awards while showcasing their athletic ability, leadership, and character on a national stage.

Selected participants will receive:
• The opportunity to compete for $250,000 in scholarships
• National exposure through the ESPN App and ESPN on ABC
• Leadership and teamwork development
• Recognition as one of America's top young competitors
• The chance to be part of a signature event celebrating America's 250th Birthday

Competition Dates: August 9-11, 2026
Application Deadline: July 10, 2026

Applying is easy. Students simply submit a short video sharing their story, accomplishments, and why they want to participate.
