The 8th Annual Vermont Remembers Run
On September 13th 2013, The Vermont National Guard Charitable Foundation will be hosting an 11k Run/Ruck March, a 5k Fun Run/Walk and a Youth 1 Mile Fun Run to benefit the VTNG Charitable Foundation Fallen Heroes Memorial. The race begins and ends at the Fallen Heroes Memorial on Camp Johnson (789 Vermont National Gu
ard Road, Colchester, VT 05446). All events are open to the public. Registration is open until midnight on 07 September 2015. Registration forms may also be mailed prior to 01SEP13, or submitted in person 0700-0800, 13 September 2015. Volunteers needed for event support: Contact [email protected]
Ruck March Participants will walk/run on the same course as the runners/walkers. Ruck March Participants can compete in three categories: 1) Individual 2) Team (2-6 person) 3) Platoon (7 or more). Each person must carry their own Ruck Sack. Rucks must weigh at least 35 lbs and will be weighed prior to the start/finish. The 1 mile Youth Fun Run will take place at 1030, following the completion of the 10k race. The course is an enclosed 1 mile loop located on Camp Johnson.
