NOW HIRING: Aviation Maintenance Worker I (Temporary)
The Vermont Agency of Transportation is seeking a part-time Aviation Maintenance Worker based at the Rutland/Southern Vermont Regional Airport in North Clarendon, VT.
This hands-on position is critical to keeping airport operations safe and compliant year-round. Duties include airfield inspections, heavy equipment operation, snow removal, grounds maintenance, facility upkeep, and supporting airport operations.
What you'll find:
• $24.59–$38.27 per hour
• FAA and airport operations training
• Heavy equipment operation experience
• Overtime opportunities during winter operations
• A unique work environment supporting Vermont aviation
Qualified candidates should have maintenance or construction experience, including snowplow and heavy equipment operation.
