The parking area located at the intersection of Indian Brook Road and Warren Landing Road is also CLOSED. However, our trail/grounds are open daily from sunrise to sunset. Information on other parking options can be found on our website.

As critical natural habitat for birds and other wildlife of the Hudson River Estuary, Constitution Marsh is part of Audubon New York’s Center Network

and is located in Putnam County, NY on the east shore of the Hudson River (just south of the village of Cold Spring and across the river from West Point).

We provide quality place-based education programs focused on experiential learning for thousands of students annually. We demonstrate how to manage habitats to benefit birds, other wildlife and improve the quality of our lives, promote citizen science and inspire environmental stewardship.

Volunteer Opportunity at Constitution Marsh Audubon Center

We’re seeking friendly, reliable volunteers to help staff the front desk and assist with light administrative work at Constitution Marsh Audubon Center.
Volunteer roles include:
• Greeting visitors and answering questions about the Center and trails
• Assisting with visitor check ins
• Helping with basic administrative tasks such as data entry and organizing materials
• Supporting staff operations so we can focus on conservation and education
Volunteers are especially helpful in keeping the Center running smoothly behind the scenes. Flexible scheduling and training provided. No prior experience required.

Last week our Program Manager Lexi Klahn and previous S.C.A. Intern Ariana Telzerow had the wonderful opportunity to participate in Audubon New York's Youth Advocacy Day! We would love to give a big shout out to our Senior Policy Manager, Erin McGrath, for all the hard work she put into making this day possible. It was a wonderful way for some of our youth participants from Theodore Roosevelt Sanctuary and Audubon Center, Montezuma Audubon Center, and Audubon New York to make their voices heard by state and local legislators.

We look forward to bringing our own group of youth climate advocates next year. Stay tuned for more information on Constitution Marsh Audubon Center's very own Conservation Ambassador's High School Program starting up this May!
