Join us next Sunday September 13th from 9 to 11 AM for a Marsh Habitat Volunteer Day! We'll work on cutting back invasive plants and applying a geotextile tarp to kill invasive vines. Water, a hat, and clothes and footwear you can get dirty are highly encouraged. We'll provide the necessary tools but you can bring your own if you'd prefer! We'd love to see you there for a fun day of maintaining our center!

Huge shout out to our marsh habitat volunteers for maintaining the Constitution Marsh boardwalk trail this Sunday morning! They cut back overgrown vegetation and scraped sediment and weeds from the boardwalk. We also spotted a great blue heron and cormorants from the boardwalk which was a fun treat. Many thanks to the volunteers of the Hudson Valley Sanctuaries for keeping our sanctuaries in tip top shape!

Free program tomorrow at our other beautiful 1,000+ acre forest bird sanctuary property in Hillsdale, NY! Come learn more about the other conservation work we do across the Hudson Valley!

Join us a week from Next Friday on August 14th at 6 PM for an evening Forestry Walk at Rheinstrom Hill Audubon Constitution Marsh Audubon Center and Sanctuary. Our Land Steward and staff will lead a guided walk through the forest to discuss ways to manage forests for bird populations and overall forest health. All are welcome and this is a particularly excellent program to attend if you are a land manager, forest property owner, or someone interested in forest ecology. It will be a great way to learn more about the work we're doing to create bird-friendly habitat. Calling all volunteers and prospective volunteers! This Sunday, July 26th, we will be hosting a boardwalk cleanup from 9:00-11:00 am at the marsh. If you like getting your hands dirty and learning about maintaining trails this is the event for you! We’ll be clearing overgrown marsh vegetation and cleaning the boardwalk to improve visitor experience. You’ll directly help us maintain this trail and afterwards have an opportunity to take in the views and wildlife. We hope to see you there, the sign up on our website’s events page!
