TOWN OF COLDEN TOWN BOARD
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that 3 public hearings will be held by the Colden Town Board on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 7:00 pm at the Colden Fire Hall located at 8448 Gutekunst Rd, Colden, New York, at which hearing parties and interested citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard on multiple proposed Town of Colden Local Laws:
A Local Law to extend the current Battery Energy Storage Systems Moratorium for 6 months.
A Local Law entitled Regulation of Battery Energy Storage Systems and a Local Law amending Chapter 108 (zoning) to establish the Use of Battery Energy Storage Systems in various zoning districts.
A Local Law to Amend Chapter 108 (zoning) by adding “Commercial Recreational Facility” as a permitted principal use by Special Use Permit in Agricultural Zoning districts.
All interested parties are entitled to be heard upon the proposed Local Laws at such public hearings. Copies of said proposed Local Laws are available for review at the Colden Town Clerk’s Office at 8812 State Road, Colden, New York, during normal business hours.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Colden’s September Town Board meeting and workshop have been rescheduled for Wednesday September 2, 2026, at the Colden Fire Hall, 8448 Gutekunst Rd, Colden NY 14033. The workshop begins at 6:00 pm and the Board meeting begins at 7:00 pm.
