Girard Township Planning Commission has received an application for a Special Use Permit. A public hearing has been scheduled to hear comments and consider the request on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Girard Township Hall, 1009 Marshall Rd, Coldwater, MI 49036.
Request: A Special Use Permit for a new dwelling at 604 Bidwell Road, in accordance with Section 15.03 (A) of the Girard Township Zoning Ordinance.

Again this year, Waffle Farm will host a fireworks display to celebrate Independence Day. The event is scheduled for Sunday, July 5, 2026 around 10:00 p.m. Rain date is Monday, July 6.
