Coldwater Council #452 volunteered their time packing boxes at the Branch Area Food Pantry on Saturday November 20th for their annual Holiday Food Box Distribution. 9 members spent time packing individual boxes with an assortment of food items before turkey, ham and potatoes were added to them and loaded into cars driving through the distribution line. Over 1000 boxes were packed and handed out that day. Great job group!!

Great news was received today! Waldron Schools was chosen as the 2nd. Place Winner of the just finished UCT Gives Back Video Contest! They received a $5000 prize award that they will put to good use providing much needed support for the school and students. Coldwater Council #452 is extremely proud to have one of our local schools participate and come out as a winner in this contest! Coldwater Council #452 was represented at the Quincy Business Expo on Saturday March 25th. Dave McKay manned the booth and received a lot of interest and inquiries and handed out brochures and gift items. We've also gained several new members from this expo! We consider it a huge success!

Council #452 announces upcoming 5th. Annual Memorial Golf Outing benefiting Hospice and Relay for Life. This will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at the Golf Club of Coldwater with a 1:00 PM shotgun start. Cost is $50 per person, with a first place prize of $200 awarded to the first place team. Please contact us for your reservation.

Council #452 meets the third Wednesday of each month at 7:30 pm at the Branch County Airport, please join us to see what we do at our meetings and what we do for our community.
We have our Hoagie raffle drawing each month and those holding a ticket have four chances to win!! First place is $100.00, second place $50.00, third and fourth place $25.00 each. The tickets are $50.00 per year and you have the opportunity each month to win!!
The monies from this raffle are used for supporting our youth of Branch County. The names of monthly winners will not be published on facebook due to privacy resonsiblities.

Coldwater Council #452 members recently participated in the Younker's Community Days! All funds raised during this event by UCT members is donated to CHC Hospice. Thank you Barbara Fry for being our chairperson for our Cancer Committee! A Big Thank You to everyone who bought a coupon book from UCT.

So far this fall Coldwater Council 452 held a 'Hot Dogs for Hospice' fundraiser at the Masonic Temple 'Haunted Temple' event. Proceeds for this will go to our local hospice organization. We also just recently participated in the Younkers Community Days sale where discount coupon books were sold with the proceeds going to local hospice and cancer programs.

Coldwater Council 452 has been very busy lately, as we are probably the 3rd most active council in the US and Canada. This past summer we hosted Kids Day at the Bronson Polish Festival, a Color Wheel youth fundraiser at the County Fair and held the Mike Pierson Memorial Golf Outing to raise money for cancer.

Coldwater Council 452 will be at the 'Haunted Temple' in the Coldwater Masonic Temple on October 26-27 & 30-31. We will be selling hot dogs and pop to raise money for local Cancer support. Come help support this cause!
