Little Cavs! I went to feed Cookie and Quest this morning and I saw something really exciting on the circle drive doors! Happy Class List Day! All the teachers are great at Coldwater! Enjoy your Friday!
Oh my little Cavs! Mrs Scott was soooooo excited today! I went in to feed Cookie and Quest and I saw an amazing sight! They are putting film on the library windows! This film is UV protectant! This will help to prevent the sun from beating in the library! It will protect my books, computers, our fish, Cookie, Quest and most importantly your eyes when you’re sitting on the story steps! No more blinding sun beating on you while you’re trying to listen to my stories! I’m crazy excited!
I hope you’re enjoying your summer! I know I am! Mine is filled with baseball, boating, swimming, family, friends and of course READING! 📖 I hope you are reading too! Happy summer! 🧡🖤 Go Cavs!

We had two great days of Kindergarten screenings! I cannot wait to welcome our new little Cavs!
Also, thank you to Ezra and Theo Lefeld for my gift! It was so very thoughtful and sweet. It was a thank you gift for just being their teacher. The best kind of gift! Great to be a Cav!

Mrs Fortkamp’s class was so excited this morning….it was snowing!!! The big windows in the library drive me nuts sometimes but it was wonderful to watch the snow ❄️
I wanted to share my holiday library wish list from Amazon :) I would love to add to my holiday chapter book collection. The library is transforming into a winter wonderland....celebrating one of my favorite seasons!

It's almost Book Fair time!!!! I am so excited! Our Book Fair will be here on Friday, November 3rd and it will run through Friday, November 10th! We will be open during the school day and then in the evenings on Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00-8:00. We also will be open 8:00-4:00 on Friday, November 10th! I cannot wait to see you! A few of my Kindergarten students using the new wireless number pad and scanning their own books! They love it. 🧡🖤
Happy Friday the 13th! I wanted to let you know about a fun new addition to the library. I have added a wireless digital scanner! The students can now scan their own books! They are crazy excited. I have also ordered a wireless number pad. This will allow the students to enter their own number and then scan their book. This will really help my kindergarten and first graders learn their lunch numbers since they can see the numbers, tap the numbers and say the numbers. It will assist with memorization.

Good morning! I wanted to touch base with all of you and let you know what is going on in the library ❤️❤️❤️
In fourth grade we are reading The Mouse and the Motorcycle by Beverley Clearly. Beverley was one of my favorite authors when I was growing up. The kids are enjoying it and we will watch the movie when we finish the book.
My third graders are reading Matilda by Roald Dohl. Roald Dohl is also another of my favorite authors. The way he writes is so witty and funny. The students are loving it. We will also watch the movie when we finish the book ❤️
In seconds grade we are reading about a young sassy little girl named Lulu. We read her first book in which she wants a brontosaurus for a pet. In our current book, Lulu Walks the Dogs, by Judith Viorst, she is working to earn money for something she really wants. Her experiences and adventures with the dogs and a boy named Fleischman are fun to read
In Kindergarten and first grade we are reading picture books by some of my favorite authors, Mo Willems, Stan and Jan Bernstein and James Dean.

Hello my Little Cavs! I hope everyone had an amazing summer. I know I enjoyed every moment! It was so good to see some of you at the parade! Guess what…..school starts in just 6 days! Are you ready??? I know I am!
I know Cookie and Quest cannot wait to see you…..they have been waiting all summer to see you all back in the library. I have so many new books and a few surprises 😁😁🧡🖤

The Book Fair is coming together! It will be open Monday May 15th-May 19th! The students can shop during their library time. The fair will also be open Tuesday May 16th from 5:00-8:00 pm and than Thursday May 18th from 5:00-8:00 pm. If you have questions let me know! Also, if you would be willing volunteer to help during the book fair, contact me 😁 We always need volunteers ❤️

Hello my little Cavs!!!! I cannot believe we only have a few more weeks left in the library!
My 4th graders are finishing up the movie, “The Magicians Elephant.” My 3rd graders are finishing up the movie, “Fudge-A-Mania” since we finished the book Superfudge by Judy Blume.
My second graders are finishing up Mrs Piggle Wiggle and my first and Kindergartners are learning the new expectations they will have next year ❤️
All books are due back to the library by May 5th!
I hope everyone has had an amazing school year! I look forward to these last couple of weeks!
Right To Read will be May 15th-19th. Our theme is Get in the Game with a Good Book! ⚾️🏈🏀
