💚 STAFF MEMBER OF THE WEEK! 💚

This week, we are celebrating the amazing Mrs. Hannah — our Art Teacher & Academic Interventionist! 🎨📚

Mrs. Hannah has jumped ALL IN to help get our brand-new art programming up and running at Vandyke, bringing creativity, color, and new opportunities for our students to learn and express themselves! And when she’s not helping our little artists create masterpieces, she’s supporting students academically and helping them grow and succeed.

Starting something new takes a whole lot of work behind the scenes, and we are so thankful for Mrs. Hannah’s flexibility, creativity, and commitment to our kids!

’Twas the night before school, and all through Vandyke,
The classrooms were ready—every table just right.
The pencils were sharpened, the name tags in place,
And tomorrow we’ll welcome each smiling face💚

The teachers are ready, the hallways are too,
But Vandyke is missing one big thing… YOU!

Backpacks are packed and new shoes by the door,
We’ve been waiting all summer—just one sleep more! 💚

Because tomorrow our school comes alive once again!
With learning and laughter, old and new friends.
There’ll be high-fives and hugs and maybe some tears,
As we kick off another incredible year.

So get some good sleep and dream big tonight,
Because tomorrow morning, our future is bright!

Each day, we'll introduce you to another amazing member of Team Vandyke—the caring, dedicated, and passionate people who make our school such a special place to learn and belong.

Whether they're welcoming students with a smile, leading learning, or cheering kids on every step of the way, every member of our staff plays an important role in making Vandyke feel like home.

These awards don’t belong to one person. They belong to the teachers, paras, coaches, custodians, cooks, drivers, office staff, support staff, families, community members—and most importantly, the incredible KIDS who make our schools the best place to be. 💚

To everyone who voted for us, supports us, trusts us with your kids, cheers us on, and believes in what we’re doing—THANK YOU.
