Antelope Valley Fire Department Meetings are Tuesday nights from 6p-9p at the Larson Fire Station Business office open Tues and Thurs Volunteers are always welcome!

MISSION STATEMENT

To Protect and serve the citizens and visitors of the Antelope Valley by providing fire protection and suppression, safety education, emergency medical care and to respond to the community's emergency needs in a safe, professional, courteous and efficient manner. Meetings are at the Larson Lane Fire Station every Tuesday from 6pm to 9pm.

Our seasonal summer crew is up and running! If you see them around the valley, stop and say hi. Our two new members, Nathan and Brendon, are excited to be a part of the department and the community.
This crew works from the first of July until September or October depending on the fall fire conditions. They are here to assist with our increased call volume in the summer and to help us meet our mutual aid agreements with our state and federal partners.

Just a few thoughts,
Yesterday was the 24th anniversary of the C-130 crash during the Cannon fire. That was a horrible time for our community and the local area as the pilot was a Carson Valley native.
June has historically been one of the busiest months for wildland fires on the Sierra Front although fires can happen year round.
Finally, today is a red flag day in the Antelope Valley so be mindful of your actions today and be a lookout for us all.
