A new school year begins with new faces, fresh ideas, and endless possibilities! 👏🎉
🍎 We are thrilled to introduce you to our new staff for the upcoming school year. 🏫
⭐️ Kimberly Piper
⭐️ Elementary Interventionist
"Hi! My name is Kimberly Piper, and I am the new reading interventionist at Colfax Elementary. My husband's name is Jason, and we have a 2 year old son, Sterling. Our picture was taken on the Hogwarts Express at Universal Studios. For my 40th birthday last year, we drove to Florida to celebrate!
This will be my 14th year in education. I have taught in middle school as a science and special education teacher. At the elementary level, I have taught 3rd, 5th, and special education. I received my Bachelors in education with an emphasis in learning disabilities from UW-Eau Claire, my Masters in education alongside my Reading 316 license from UW-Stout, and have become National Board Certified!
When I'm not at school I enjoy playing with my son and watching him explore the world around him. I also like to read, garden, crochet, drink coffee, and hang out with our pets. Two years ago, we rescued two kittens from a farm, and last year we adopted two puppies. We also have a senior husky and a senior cat, along with some fish, to complete our zoo.
I am very excited for the opportunity at Colfax and look forward to getting to know everyone and helping our students grow.
Go Vikings! (Even though I'm a Packer fan. 💚💛)"
Please help us give Kimberly a warm welcome to our Viking family! 🤩 We are so glad you're here!! ❤️🤍❤️
