Watching our Placer County Sheriff's Office and CHP teams work with their horses is always such a pleasure.

I was lucky enough to catch the tail end of a Ride With Pride day, where local kids spend the day at a horse camp run by PCSO. They learn about horses, how to care for them, how they're used in crowd control, watch a K9 demonstration, and even get the chance to ride.

Thank you to everyone who makes this program possible.
