Did you know that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers transport juvenile salmon in fish transportation barges? These barges move juvenile fish down the Snake and Columbia rivers and deposit them safely below Bonneville Dam. You can often spot these barges from Boyer Park and Marina as they make their way to Lower Granite Dam. To learn more about salmon conservation efforts on the Columbia Snake River System, come to the Snake River Family Festival on Saturday, June 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Boyer Park and Marina!

Did you know you can take a tour of Lower Granite Lock and Dam during this year's Snake River Family Festival? Make sure to bring a valid photo ID and wear closed toe shoes. Tours are first come, first served with sign-ups at the Army Corps of Engineers booth during the festival. Join us on Saturday, June 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Boyer Park and Marina for dam tours and other river education activities!
