Here are the questions that Auburn Journal asked with my answers. I hope this helps you get a better understanding of who I am. Thank you
Have you opposed something that the Colfax City Council has done? If so what was it and why did you oppose it?
I am a opposed to the Colfax City Councils stance on the Recreational Ma*****na applicants. The city council decided to end the application process after already excepting the application fee from multiple applicants. The halting of the process resulted in thousands of tax payer dollars to be wasted on non progressive business. All due to misguided, and misleading information. Resulting in a uneducated vote to stop the process.
What are the top 3 issues facing the City Council?
1. The Excessive Sewer Charges.
2. Colfax City Road Maintenance.
3. Miss Use Of The City Funds On Non-Progressive Issues.
What would your first priority be if you are elected to the City Council and why?
My first priority would to be to look into the finances and see where our money is going. I would want to recreate a budget that would eliminate misuse of funds and to put money back into our community with doing things like: paving city and residential streets, getting a youth program up and running and investigate why small businesses are not staying open in Colfax.
Why should Colfax residents vote for you?
I believe Colfax residents should vote for me because my family and I are committed to Colfax and making this city a better place. I am the fourth generation here and we have been involved in the community for years. I want make the necessary changes so that Colfax can thrive again and be the town once loved by so many. I want to bring small businesses back and bring back revenue so that we can have lower sewer fees and more youth focused activities.
