We’re halfway through UMD Giving Day and the Terrapin Battalion is incredibly grateful for everyone who has already supported our cadets today.

Every morning before most of campus wakes up, Maryland Army ROTC cadets are already training, preparing to become the next generation of leaders in the United States Army, Army Reserve, and National Guard.

Your support helps provide:
• Training equipment and leadership development
• Support for Ranger Challenge and Color Guard
• Professional military events and cadet training opportunities
• Scholarships for hardworking cadets

We’re still pushing to unlock additional scholarship support that will directly benefit our cadets, and every contribution helps us get closer.

In alignment with Department of Defense (DoD) Instruction 5400.17, U.S. Army and the recent Executive Orders issued by the President, the University of Maryland Army ROTC program has reviewed and adjusted its social media content to ensure compliance with DoD policies and priorities. As a result, certain posts have been removed, are in a process of being removed, or modified to maintain consistency with federal guidance and uphold the integrity of our official communication channels. Rucking with purpose and heart!

This Saturday, we teamed up with Army and Air Force units across the DMV for a 'Toy Ruck' march through DC. From the DC Armory to Children's National Hospital, every step carried joy, hope, and a little holiday magic. Proud to be part of something bigger than ourselves.
