we want climate justice now! thrilled to have joined Oxfam America’s DC office today at the global climate strike. remember that those affected the most by climate change are those who already experience marginalization in our global community. @ Capital Hill, Washington, DC
Less than 24 hours until the Global Climate Strike ⏰ Oxfam UMD will be joining Oxfam America staff in DC for the march. Our climate emergency is a climate injustice. The climate crisis doesn’t care where you came from, your socioeconomic class, or your religious beliefs. It’s a global emergency that is making an impact on our health, food sources, economic opportunities, and our home. Join us in our fight for Climate Justice Now!
Our newest members practice their Oxfam messaging! Thanks for an awesome first GBM

Inequality and poverty are not preordained: they are the products of political choices and public policy. Tackling inequality is critical to the fight against extreme poverty. Indeed, unless countries significantly close the gap between the richest and the rest, ending extreme poverty will remain just a dream.
