The Polymer Technology Center (PTC) at Texas A&M University encompasses more than twenty five faculty members from more than ten fields of science and technology whose research topics are in the area of polymers and plastics. Two industrial consortia support operations of the PTC: the Polymer Technology Industrial Consortium (PTIC), founded in 1986, and the Polymer Scratch Consortium (SCRATCH), fo

unded in 2001. There are currently more than thirty companies in attendance of the consortia. Members of the consortia sponsor research projects both individually and jointly.
