Second Harvest will have a distribution on Friday, 5/15, at the park.
The distribution will start at 12:00pm.
Second Harvest states that they will have enough food for 70 households, all first come first serve. There will be produce, meat, and eggs.
The only information they ask is how many seniors and how many children are in the household.
Pass the word.

From Second Harvest Food Bank:
We'll be at Hard and Flossie Clark Family Park in Collettsville Thursday 4/2 distributing fresh food. 12 Noon.

We are working out of a pick-up truck and have the capacity to serve 80 households, first come first serve. We will have produce, meat, and eggs. The only information we collect is how many are in the household, and if they have any children (under 18) and seniors (60+). Individuals are encouraged to pick-up for family, neighbors, and friends that cannot come pick up themselves.

A busy Club meeting for March. Principal Amy Brawley introduced our Caldwell County School Superintendent, Dr. Thomas Howell, who updated us on our schools. He had praise for Amy and Collettsville School for increasing enrollment. Parents want to bring their children here.

President Reuben Chandler said the Valentine Dinner was a successful fundraiser. Thanks to the volunteers for setup and cooking, and to the Beta Club for serving. Also, Bingo starts Thursday, March 12. Desserts are needed for the event, so bake if you can.

Blood Drive is March 19, 1-5:30. Be sure to sign up and give blood. Salads/desserts are needed for the workers. And remember we are collecting old eyeglasses for the Lions Club.

Reuben presented pins to those who brought in new members: John Rader and Kasey Gragg. Reuben also welcomed new members Megan White and Loryn Rader. Congrats to them.
Youth Club updates were given by teacher Kasey Gragg and student Mason Story. Students recently had a project of a school clean up. In April, they will clean up the park.

Principal Amy updated us about the various student clubs at the school and the recent Washington DC trip where students laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. There are also student competitions coming up.

Finally, Karla Laws, our Ruritan Zone Governor was present and addressed the members. She enjoyed hearing about the activity of our club and new membership.
