Our thoughts and prayers are with the Philadelphia Police Department. 💙🖤

The Haddon Township Police Department stands in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in the Philadelphia Police Department following the tragic shooting of two officers while responding to a call in West Philadelphia early this morning.

Behind every badge is a person, a family, and loved ones who pray for their safe return home at the end of every shift. Today, we ask our community to join us in keeping these officers and their families in your thoughts and prayers.

To the men and women of the Philadelphia Police Department, please know that your law enforcement family here in Haddon Township stands with you. 💙🙏

Congratulations to Detectives Treger and Graham!

The Haddon Township Police Department is proud to recognize Det. Treger and Det. Graham for being honored by the Haddon Township Fire Marshal's Office and Westmont Fire Company No. 1 for their commitment to upholding compliance with the New Jersey International Fire Code.

👮‍♂️🐾 A Special Visit to Van Sciver!

After receiving some great letters from Van Sciver School’s 3rd graders, filled with messages of support and lots of questions about being a police officer, we decided to stop by and answer their questions in person!

Of course, we brought K-9 Ivy along for the visit… and as expected, she stole the show! 🐕‍🦺💙

Thank you to the students and teachers at Van Sciver for the warm welcome!

🎓 Congratulations, Lieutenant Mark Pagano!

The Haddon Township Police Department is proud to announce that Lieutenant Mark Pagano has been selected to attend the 300th Session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia!

The FBI National Academy is one of the most prestigious and selective law enforcement leadership programs in the world. Less than 1% of law enforcement leaders have the opportunity to attend. The intensive 10-week residential program provides advanced training in leadership, communication, fitness, and contemporary law enforcement practices.

Lt. Pagano’s selection is an exceptional professional accomplishment and also reflects our department’s continued commitment to investing in the training and development of our leaders so that we can provide the highest level of service to the residents of Haddon Township and Audubon Park.

Congratulations, Lt. Pagano, and best of luck as you prepare to represent our department at the FBI National Academy’s historic 300th Session!

We Will Never Forget — September 11, 2001

Today, the Haddon Township Police Department joins our nation in remembering the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We honor the first responders who ran toward danger, the innocent lives taken far too soon, and the countless families forever changed by that day.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to remember their courage, sacrifice, and service.

May we never forget those we lost, those who answered the call, and the unity that brought our nation together in the days that followed.

Never Forget

💛 SEPTEMBER IS CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS MONTH 💛

This month, the Haddon Township Police Department stands with the children and families who are fighting childhood cancer, the survivors who continue to inspire us, and the loved ones who support them every step of the way.

Behind every diagnosis is a child with dreams, a family navigating the unimaginable, and a community that can make a difference. 💛

Childhood cancer doesn’t just affect a child, it affects an entire family and community. That’s why awareness, support, research, and hope matter.

🎗️ This September, let’s GO GOLD together. 🎗️

Wear gold. Share a message of support. Learn about childhood cancer. Support organizations working to improve treatments and outcomes for children.

To every young fighter battling cancer: we see you, we stand with you, and we’re cheering you on. 💛

🥨 A Special Thank You to Nolan! 👮‍♂️💙

We had a great surprise at HTPD when our friend Nolan stopped by with soft pretzels for our officers as a way of saying thank you for his recent “A Day Behind the Badge” experience!

Nolan won the opportunity through a Strawbridge School PTA raffle, giving him the chance to spend some time with our officers and get a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like to be a Haddon Township Police Officer.

We’re pretty sure we were supposed to be the ones making the day special for Nolan, but he turned around and made ours a little more special, too!

Thank you, Nolan, for thinking of our officers and for the delicious pretzels. We loved having you spend the day with us and hope you enjoyed your time behind the badge as much as we enjoyed having you! 🚔🥨💙
