Due to scheduled water line maintenance by the Town of Mt. Olive, Mt. Olive Schools will be closed Thursday, October 30, 2025. School will resume on Friday, October 31, 2025.

All other Covington County schools will operate on a regular schedule.

The Mississippi Department of Education released accountability ratings for the 2024-2025 academic school year.

We are pleased to announce CCSD has earned a B-Rating for 2024-2025 for the third consecutive year with all schools rated C and above.

We are thrilled to celebrate one of our amazing Residency I students, Kristlyn Parker. Kristlyn is currently student teaching at Collins Elementary School under the guidance of her cooperating teacher, Mrs. Kennedy Bryant, with support from her university supervisor, Mrs. Debbie Bender.
Kristlyn, we are incredibly proud of your dedication to your students. Your ability to plan, prepare, and implement engaging lessons creates a learning environment that is fun and inviting.
