🚌 We are going on a field trip!

As part of the Library CSI program, youth in grades 5-12 are invited on a field trip to SIUE! Participants will engage in hands-on forensic science activities and take a tour the University's labs, followed by lunch and a tour of the Lovejoy Library.

Registration is required for this free event. All participants must submit a completed waiver and lunch order form in order to go on the field trip.

Participants will be picked up from the Fairmont City Library at 8:45 AM and the Collinsville Memorial Library at 9:15 AM. Participants should be at the library 15 minutes before scheduled pickup times to ensure you are checked in and all needed documentation is filed with library staff.

Drop-off at the Collinsville Memorial Library will be at approximately 1:45 PM and at the Fairmont City Library at approximately 2:15 PM. Parents/guardians needing to pick up their youth in the afternoon should be at the library at least 15 minutes before the approximate drop-off times due to possible day-of changes in itinerary.

Funding for Project Next Generation is provided by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services to the Secretary of State/Illinois State Library under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA).
