Summer is here — let’s stay safe in the heat. ☀️

Hot weather can be especially difficult for older adults and individuals with health conditions, which makes a few simple precautions extra important this time of year.

🔹Drink water regularly throughout the day
🔹Wear lightweight, breathable clothing
🔹Limit time outdoors during peak afternoon heat
🔹Check in on loved ones during especially hot days

A quick phone call or visit can make a big difference.

June is Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month. 💜

This month, we’re recognizing the individuals and families navigating Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and memory loss, and reminding caregivers that support is available right here in our community.

At St. John’s Community Care, our Memory Café and Alzheimer’s Support Groups offer connection, encouragement, and practical support for both caregivers and loved ones experiencing early memory loss.

No one should have to walk this journey alone.
