As the school year came to a close, students in the Language and Composition classes at Bassett High School took grammar review into their own hands through creativity, collaboration, and a little friendly competition. Students were challenged to design non-digital games that incorporated the grammar skills they explored throughout the year.

Classrooms were filled with strategy, teamwork, and thoughtful discussion as students tested one another’s games and shared feedback with their classmates. From board games to card challenges and creative trivia formats, each project reflected both imagination and a strong understanding of the concepts learned throughout the year.

Activities like these show that learning can leave a lasting impression when students are given the opportunity to create, collaborate, and teach one another.
