Dear Kahok Family. This afternoon, the Collinsville School District was informed that Governor Pritzker will be speaking in Fairmont City regarding the impacts of Rebuild Illinois. Due to the Governor’s planned visit scheduled for this afternoon there may be road closures that impact certain bus routes within the village of Fairmont City. Please note that scheduled afternoon student drop-off times may be delayed and alternate stop locations may be necessary as directed by the Governor’s securitydetail. We apologize for any inconveniences and appreciate your cooperation as we work with the Governor’s office and the Fairmont Police department for the safe transport of your children from school today.
As a reminder, you may track your child’s bus real-time location and progress using the [FirstView 1.0 app](https://myfirstview.com/)
Sincerely,Mark B. SkertichSuperintendent of Schools**Families whose students have bus stops in Fairmont City WILL be impacted. Parents/caregivers should report to either 38th & Cookson OR 38th & Maple. Our Fairmont City students will be dropped off at those two locations only. Adults should walk up to the bus and let the driver know which child(ren) they are picking up. This will helps students know where to get off of the bus.**
