🚨 VEHICLE PURSUIT ARREST🚨

On 05/29/2026, the Collinsville Police Department attempted to stop a sport motorcycle traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 377. The motorcycle was operating without a license plate.

The suspect failed to stop and fled, leading officers on a pursuit through Western Grayson County, portions of Denton and Cooke Counties, and into Love County, Oklahoma. With the assistance of numerous law enforcement agencies, including the Texas Department of Public Safety Aircraft Operations Division, the suspect was continuously monitored and ultimately taken into custody in Thackerville, Oklahoma.

The suspect’s reckless actions endangered motorists and other members of the public as the pursuit crossed multiple jurisdictions and state lines. Through the coordinated efforts of assisting agencies, the incident was brought to a safe conclusion. During the arrest, the suspect was taken into custody and evaluated by EMS personnel. No injuries to law enforcement officers or members of the public were reported.

The Collinsville Police Department will be actively enforcing city code violations throughout the community. Residents are encouraged to help keep Collinsville clean, safe, and welcoming by addressing issues such as tall grass, junk vehicles, trash accumulation, and other ordinance violations.

Please take this opportunity to get properties in order and into compliance before enforcement action becomes necessary. Voluntary compliance is always appreciated.

On 05/09/2026, the Collinsville Police Department conducted a proactive patrol investigation that resulted in the arrest of a subject for Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon.

During the investigation, the officer located suspected ma*****na, THC products, drug paraphernalia, and a loaded 9mm inside the vehicle.

The suspect was transported to the Grayson County Jail without incident.

The Collinsville Police Department continues to remain committed to proactive policing, and criminal activity will not be tolerated in our community.

🚨 HIGH SPEED PURSUIT ARREST 🚨

On 05/03/2026, the Collinsville Police Department arrested a suspect for Evading Arrest or Detention with a Motor Vehicle following a high-speed pursuit.

The pursuit began in Collinsville and continued into the Valley View area, reaching speeds of approximately 140 mph. The suspect’s reckless driving and behavior placed the public at risk. The pursuit ended when the suspect crashed and was taken into custody.

No injuries were reported.

We had a great turnout this morning at our Coffee with a Cop & City Council event!

It was a pleasure getting to meet and visit with so many members of our community. We truly appreciate the continued support you show the Collinsville Police Department.

The kids had a great time as well—getting stickers, checking out the patrol vehicles, and spending time with our officers. Moments like these are what community policing is all about.

On 04/27/2026, Collinsville PD conducted a traffic stop for a violation. The driver was found to have two felony outstanding Grayson County Sheriff’s Office warrants for Evading Arrest and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident.

On April 24, 2026, the Collinsville Police Department arrested a suspect for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) in the area of Hwy 377. During the course of the investigation, suspected methamphetamine and additional illegal narcotics were located and seized. The investigation remains ongoing. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Grayson County Jail for booking.
