Another winter picture - you would think I like snow or something!
Join us Saturday, September 12 from 10am-12pm for Colo Public Library Touch a Truck.
Thank you so much to the Iowa Department of Transportation for bringing the Tow Plow. This is a great opportunity for all ages to see how big the equipment is and to be cautious when you see those bright orange vehicles on the roads.

Colo Touch a Truck - Saturday, September 12 from 10am to 12pm.

Why a picture of a gravel road that has been plowed?? What vehicle do you think will be at Touch a Truck that represents this picture?

Hint - When snow hits and you live on a gravel road you are very thankful to see this vehicle go by - especially when you have been in the house for a few days.

Adult Book Club
Wednesday August 26 at 7:00 p.m. or August 28 at 2:00 p.m.
What would happen if an EMP wiped the grid out completely across the country? It's an interesting topic and so we are having two different times available for people to join in the discussion.
If you are interested in participating stop by the library for a copy of the book.

Even if you haven't read the book feel free to join us. Besides discussing the book we will be discussing the actual threat of an EMP, what would happen to your community and country, is it even possible??

We are super excited about the Swoops ‘N Scoops Ice Cream Truck that will be at Colo Public Library Touch a Truck Saturday, September 12 from 10:00a.m.-12:00p.m.

Swoops ‘N Scoops was just awarded 2026 Des Moines Choice for Food Trucks!

If you can't find me that day I'll be in line debating what flavor to have --- it's a very hard decision.
