Congratulations to the Woodbridge Police Department’s Junior Police Academy on being recognized last night by the Woodbridge Metro Chamber of Commerce as their Business Education Partnership Award!

The academy has given hundreds of students an inside look at careers in law enforcement and invaluable soft skills such as confidence, discipline, perseverance and respect to name a few. And thank you for offering our students and parents an affordable and constructive summer program.

MAKE A PLAN TO VOTE! Woodbridge Patch lays out the three ways that you can vote between now and Election Day.

IN-PERSON ON ELECTION DAY:
Election Day is Nov. 2. at your local and usual polling place.

IN-PERSON BEFORE ELECTION DAY:
Under a new voting law passed this year, voters can machine vote early from Oct. 23 - Oct. 31:
Woodbridge Acacia Youth Center 95 Port Reading Avenue Woodbridge 07095 (Former Hungarian-American Hall)
Hours: Mon-Sat 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Sun 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
BY MAIL:
If you'd prefer to vote by mail, there are 2 places to drop you ballot in Woodbridge:
1.) Woodbridge Municipal Building 1 Main Street, Woodbridge Woodbridge In front of town hall
2.) Woodbridge Library 1 George Frederick Plaza, Woodbridge Woodbridge Drop box is curbside. Adjacent to north side of main entrance stairs to town hall.

Vote-by-mail ballots must be postmarked or placed in drop boxes on or before 8 p.m. on Nov. 2, Election Day.

Vote early by machine from Oct. 23 - Oct. 31 OR drop your mail-in ballot at these drop box locations OR vote in person on Nov. 2:

Beautiful day to walk and meet our Avenel neighbors!!

It was great meeting residents of Avenel today and grabbed lunch at a local business. 15 days until Election Day. Early Voting begins next Saturday, October 23.
