Happy EMS week to Colonia Fire Department President Peter Theologis

๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿš‘ National EMS Week Member Spotlight ๐Ÿš‘๐Ÿšจ
Peter Theologis, EMT

In honor of National EMS Week, AFSCME Local 3044-1 is proud to recognize EMT Peter Theologis.

Peter has served as an EMT for 8 years, bringing dedication, compassion, and professionalism to every call. For Peter, one of the most meaningful parts of being an EMT is the ability to make a real difference in someoneโ€™s worst moment โ€” whether that means calming a scared patient, treating someone during an emergency, or simply being there to reassure a family member.

He also values the teamwork and fast-paced environment of EMS, where no two days are the same and every shift brings an opportunity to learn, adapt, and serve.

Outside of work, Peter stays deeply involved in the fire service and EMS community. He enjoys training, learning new skills, spending time with friends and family, attending sporting events, photography, and participating in community events through the department.

Peter holds multiple certifications, including Fire Inspector, Fire Instructor, Rope Rescue Technician, and Motor Vehicle Extrication Technician. He is also the President of the Colonia Fire Department, a fire dispatcher at Station 7, and an instructor at the Ohio Youth Fire and EMS Training Academy in Nelsonville, Ohio.

Thank you, Peter, for your service, leadership, and commitment to EMS, the fire service, and the community.

Happy National EMS Week! ๐Ÿš‘๐Ÿ’š
