City of Colony

City of Colony Colony is a city in Anderson County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2022 census, the city population was 375.

History of Colony:

Colony had its start in the year 1872 by the building of the railroad through that territory. It was named for a colony from Ohio and Indiana, which settled in the neighborhood. The railroad tracks in Colony have since been converted to a rail trail. The trail is part of the Prairie Spirit Trail State Park.

Just a quick update for everyone who has reached out about the cats that were found in the roadway. Animal Control has already been contacted and the situation is being taken care of.

Well… because I am human and apparently needed to keep everyone on their toes! 🤦‍♀️😂 There was an error on the Everbridge flyers that were distributed to businesses on Friday.

PLEASE NOTE THE CORRECTED DATES:

📍 Greeley Meeting: August 26th
📍 Colony Meeting: August 28th
