En el marco de la Relación Bilateral Militar entre México y los E.U.A., del 11 al 13 de mayo de 2026, 77 estudiantes del Colegio de Defensa Nacional de México participaron en una visita de estudios en las instalaciones del Comando de Defensa Aeroespacial de Norteamérica (NORAD) y Comando Norte de los Estados Unidos en la Base de la Fuerza Espacial Peterson, Colorado, E.U.A.

Los estudiantes participaron en diálogos con los líderes del Comando Norte de los E.U.A. centrados en las funciones de defensa nacional, apoyo de defensa a autoridades civiles, cooperación en seguridad y logística; así como, operaciones en la frontera compartida.

Esta actividad académica mejora los procedimientos de cooperación que contribuyen a fortalecer las capacidades de los Ejércitos de México y los E.U.A., bajo los principios de reciprocidad, responsabilidad compartida y diferenciada, confianza mutua y pleno respeto a las decisiones y territorios soberanos.
