Check out this opportunity to elevate our student voices. We would love to see students from our community apply to be a part of this in a big way. Last year, we had a D2 student recognized as one of the top of the class and she was given a scholarship for her dedication and contributions.

The Chief’s Youth Advisory Council (YAC) gives Colorado Springs students ages 14–18 the opportunity to meet directly with the Chief of Police, learn more about CSPD operations, participate in hands-on experiences, and provide their perspectives on issues that matter to young people. The application deadline is September 14th, so make sure to act now if you have a student who is interested.

The Colorado Springs Police Department is looking for young people who want to make a difference, share their voice, and help shape conversations about policing and our community.

Our school is excited to partner with the Denver Broncos and Colorado Department of Education leaders to highlight why attendance matters! It starts with our staff and students showing up for class every single day! Let's do this!

Attendance is a team sport! Today, we're announcing our new Denver Broncos Attendance Network in partnership with the Denver Broncos Foundation and Attendance Works. This initiative is a learning cohort for school leaders focused on improving student attendance that includes 53 schools from thirteen school districts and two BOCES.
