With Graduation looming around the corner, there is only 2 options if you want to be successful after completion of high school. WORK or SCHOOL, no way around it! If you’re at a fork in the road like I was after graduating, Active Duty Air Force is a great way to start your adulthood and achieve BOTH of those. The Air Force is the ONLY branch that automatically enrolls you into an associate’s degree. While in basic training and learning your specific job in technical school, you will be paid full-time salary all while earning college credits (SACSCOC). A 4 year commitment for a lifetime of benefits is 100% worth it. Don’t wait until it’s too late and you wish you would’ve done it at a young age. We get it – cool shots of aircraft don’t pay the bills, but you know what does? Enlistment bonuses.

From now through Sept. 30, 2022, any member who enters active duty in a quick-ship status, regardless of career field, may be eligible to receive an $8,000 bonus. “Quick Ship” status refers to an applicant who fills a short-notice Basic Military Training vacancy, shipping out within five days or less.

To our Special Warfare recruits, don’t forget you’re already eligible for up to $50,000. Additionally, some cyber career fields provide an opportunity to receive up to $20,000. New skills added to the Initial Enlistment Bonus program include:
