This Saturday! Stop by and drop off any unused or expired medications. NOT ALLOWED: Intravenous solutions, injectables, and syringes will not be accepted due to blood-borne pathogens. Ma*****na and illicit substances such as methamphetamines are not a part of this initiative and should not be placed in collection containers.
Drop off location will be outside of the library on the left end of the parking lot (by Widefield Parks and Recreation Splash Pad).

The next DEA Drug Take Back Day is Saturday, Oct. 24!

The El Paso County Public Health Substance Use Prevention program is partnering with Widefield Parks and Recreation to host a Drug Take Back Day, located at 755 Aspen Drive, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. We will also have a second drop-off at Fountain Library, located at 230 S. Main Street, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Residents can stop by to drop off unused or expired prescription drugs. The simple step of clearing out expired and unused prescription medications helps make our homes safer, aids in preventing drug addiction, and can help save lives.
