In light of the government shutdown that began on December 22, 2018, the nonprofit sector isn't standing by while its constituents face uncertainty. Here are three stories of organizations taking action to fill in the gaps left by the government.

Big Thanks to Meridian Ranch Elementary School for donating close to 3000lbs of food to HPHH!!!!!!!!

There are 3 distribution days left this year, Dec 15th from 10am until 1pm, Dec 18th from 10am until 4pm and Dec 20th from 10am until 4pm. We could still use donations of bagged/boxed potatoes, canned pumpkin, canned yams, boxed cake mix and cranberry sauce to give away with our Christmas bags. Thank You

Huge shout out to Susan for donating 15 pounds of fresh eggs from her chicken coop this morning. We love to partner with home gardeners and use their excess food to feed the hungry in our community.
