The PACE model of care—Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly—is considered the gold standard of care for seniors nationwide. PACE is enriching the lives of senior through coordinated care. Seniors who work with our team receive medical and support services to empower them to live as independently as possible in their own home or living community. Our goal is to help seniors maintain the highest level of independence as possible. Rocky Mountain PACE is the only national PACE program in the region, offering a holistic suite of services to meet the health care needs of seniors in our community. Seniors and their families do well if they have a role in their own health and we see ourselves as partners in their wellbeing. From their physical, social and emotional health, to the simple things like transportation and supportive services that help them access their care, we partner with seniors in keeping them as independent as possible. Our seniors experience their health care delivery with a coordinated, holistic and integrated approach. Our team discusses health care treatment options from many vantage points which gives our participants a strong likelihood for healthy outcomes. Rocky Mountain PACE is gaining national attention for our exceptional behavioral health integration, which is not a required discipline to operate a PACE program. We also are actively sought after to provide consulting services to other PACE and health care programs throughout the nation. Our notoriety stems from our exceptional financial stewardship, ability to cut administrative costs and waste utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodology, and our tremendous success in executing a rapidly growing PACE program.

As summer winds down, it's the perfect time to reflect on the beauty, memories, and moments that made this season special. Here in Colorado, we're fortunate to be surrounded by stunning landscapes—from neighborhood parks and community gardens to scenic mountain drives and breathtaking views.

For older adults, spending time outdoors can be a wonderful way to stay active, connected, and refreshed. Whether you enjoyed a quiet morning on the porch, a walk with a friend, or simply soaking in a beautiful view, nature has a way of lifting the spirit.

What was your favorite outdoor view or nature-filled moment this summer? We'd love to hear about it in the comments.

Today is More Herbs, Less Salt Day, a great reminder that small changes can make a big difference in our health.

At Rocky Mountain PACE, our outdoor gardens are growing more than fresh herbs—they are growing friendships, purpose, and healthy habits. Our participants team up with associates as garden buddies, working side by side to plant, nurture, and harvest herbs and vegetables that support wellness and bring joy to the day, just like Patricia and Kristin!

They plant everything from fresh basil, mint, and parsley, to tomatoes and other garden favorites. Together, our garden buddies are cultivating healthier lifestyles, one plant—and one friendship—at a time.

At Rocky Mountain PACE, volunteering is about more than giving your time—it's about building meaningful relationships that enrich the lives of older adults. Every conversation, shared activity, and friendly visit helps combat isolation, foster connection, and bring joy to our participants.

Our volunteers make a lasting impact by offering companionship, encouragement, and a sense of belonging. In return, they gain friendships, purpose, and the reward of knowing they are making a difference.

Together, we're creating a community where older adults feel valued, connected, and supported—one relationship at a time.

August is National Eye Exam Month, a great reminder that healthy vision plays an important role in maintaining independence, safety, and quality of life as we age. Regular eye exams can help detect vision changes and identify health concerns early, allowing older adults to continue enjoying the activities they love.

At Rocky Mountain PACE, we understand that caring for your eyes is an important part of caring for your overall health. Our comprehensive approach to care helps participants access the services and support they need to stay healthy, active, and engaged in their community.

Schedule your eye exam, protect your vision, and keep seeing all that life has to offer.
