Thinking about applying to a Colorado college or university?

Colorado Free Application Days are October 20-22, 2026.
During this three day period, participating institutions will waive application fees, helping students take their next step without the usual application cost.

A little preparation now can make application week much less stressful.
Start reviewing your requirements, gathering your information, and working on your applications ahead of time.

Sometimes the classes and experiences that stay with you are the ones that change how you see the world.

For Madison at CEC Fort Collins, that means getting involved in Student Government, having a voice in ideas that can create real change, and taking humanities courses that have introduced her to new ways of thinking.

From philosophy to psychology and leadership beyond the classroom, she’s finding opportunities to understand herself, connect with others, and get involved in what matters to her.

Because a great high school experience prepares you for what comes next.

Sometimes finding the right path starts with trying a few different ones.

At CEC, students have the freedom to explore their interests, take classes that open new doors, and get guidance from advisors along the way.

For Isabelle, a journey that started with business led to a love for math and science. She is now pursuing an Associate of Engineering degree!

That’s what future-focused learning can look like: room to explore, support to make smart choices, and real progress toward what comes next.
