Good morning! Welcome to our first day with our new payment system! There are a lot of great changes, and we're sure everyone will adjust to the new system quickly.
One of the big changes is that we will no longer be taking card payment information in the office. You can pay online, at www.cherokeemetro.org, and with the automated phone system. There's also an option for text to pay.
We will still accept cash and checks at the office.

We've got big changes coming to our payment system!!!

To improve payment reliability and streamline the customer service, we will be starting a new payment system at the end of October.

The payment portal and login information will remain the same but if you have your bill on autopay, you will need to set autopay up again and update your payment information starting on October 30th.

The new payment system, InvoiceCloud, will allow you to make payments and set up autopay with fewer steps. You can still pay how you have in the past with credit/debit cards and echecks, but you will now have the option to use ApplePay, PayPal, Venmo, etc.

The online portal that you already have set up will stay the same, there will be no need to create a whole new account. However, if you have autopay, you will have to sign-up again once InvoiceCloud is live. Any payment information you have saved will also need to be updated.

We will be here to help you with any issues you may have. If you have any questions, please call the office and the Customer Service team will be able to help.

We have some changes coming to our payment system!
We are pleased to announce that our payment system will be changing in mid October. We're doing a lot of work to get it ready for you! We will be posting more as we move closer to our launch date to share all of the amazing updates this will bring.

There is a confirmed water main break on Linda Dr. Crews have been dispatched to repair. Water may be disrupted, though that is currently unknown. We will update the website as we learn more. Thank you.

Update @11:12am: There is a shut-down for repairs. The residences between 6410 Lindal and 6515 Lindal will be affected. The repair will take approx. 8 hours. We will update as further information is provided. Thank you.

Fire Hydrant Flushing
Week of June 2nd - June 6th our crews will be flushing hydrants on streets between Barnes Rd. and Constitution Ave.
On Monday June 2, 2025 will we begin flushing fire hydrants throughout the district. Hydrant flushing will be going on for the next couple of months.

It is important for us to periodically flush the water lines to make sure that any build of silt or residue is the lines i removed. Normally you will not notice any difference, but sometimes air or silt will enter your home plumbing. These situations do not pose a health risk. If you do experience either of these situations, we recommend a brief flush of the COLD water in your home. Below are tips on how to best flush your water lines.

Things to do:

Start with the highest faucet in your home that does not have an aerator, the bathtub faucet is best. Open all other faucets one at time, moving from the highest floor to the lowest. If the home is one level, open the faucets closest to where the water line enters the home.
After 5 to 15 minutes, or until the water runs clears and air has been depleted from the lines, turn off the faucets working in reverse.
If the water does not run clear, wait 30 minutes and try flushing the COLD water lines again.
If your water is still not running clear after following all of the above steps, please call (719)597-5080.
Things to note:

Do not flush the water lines with hot water. Running the hot water could draw sediment into your hot water tank.
Do not flush the cold water through faucets that have a filter attached to them. The sediment may clog the filter.
Do not use discolored water to prepare food or beverages or to do laundry.
