Nina Jalenak’s kindergarten and first grade art classrooms are full of joy and peace. She fosters resilience, creativity, and imagination among her students. Over the semester, her students develop in their ability to see with artist eyes, recognize and reproduce primary colors, and play with shapes and lines. Her talents extend beyond the classroom, including her beautiful adaptation of a snippet from a MacLaren anthem “Rocky Mountain,” for the Singalong songbook. Thank you, Ms. Jalenak, for your dedication, and warmth you bring to the MacLaren community.
