Coming in 2 weeks on Friday, November 6, 2026! Join our voices in song at Lower School Community Singalong Concert! 🎵

Time: 6:30 - 7:30 p.m., doors open at 6:10 p.m.
Location: MacLaren Commons

This is not a performance, but a community event in which we all sing together—teachers, parents, and especially our students. Students will sit with their families, not with their class. Students are not required to be in uniform for this event.

All Lower School families are encouraged to attend. We hope you will join us for this special evening of music and community!

MacLaren Alumna Anna Davenport brings a love of math and a love of MacLaren to the school as a fifth-grade teacher. She consistently supports her students, helping them build confidence and skill while fostering a love of learning. Thank you, Ms. Davenport, for the joining us! We are so grateful you are here!

Mr. Seipp came to MacLaren with vast experience teaching a wide range of subjects, including Drama II; Ancient, Medieval, United States and World Histories; Geography; Literature and Composition; Biology, and German. At MacLaren, Mr. Seipp utilizes decades of experience in educational, community, and professional theatre and his degree in speech, communication, and theatre arts to teach Public Performance and Drama. A native Minnesotan, Mr. Seipp remains devoted to his home state but is an ardent explorer of Colorado. We are glad he makes a home at Thomas MacLaren School.

This week, Thomas MacLaren School was able to collect and donate 3,796 pounds of food to the Fresh Start Center! What does this mean? It means 3,163 meals are able to be provided to families in need and help keep roughly 70 families (of 4) fed for one week!

Upper School donated 873 items and Lower School donated 2,531 items. We also wanted to give shout outs to the many people who worked behind the scenes to make this drive possible! We would like to give a huge thank you to:

o The facilities team for setting up the tables, repacking and prepping the food to be loaded into the cars.
o The business team for providing the boxes and loading them into the car. As well as helping to transport the donations.
o The executive assistants for helping to keep track of all the donations and write down the numbers.
o The senior boys for helping load the food into the cars.
o The Service Club for organizing.
o And finally, thank you to everyone who participated!
