ALL Levels of Renaissance were recognized and rewarded last week with a special treat from Mexico. We served up some popular candy from there to go along with our travel them! Mrs. Yantis’s students took a trip around the classroom with a Gallery Walk & Scavenger Hunt to dive into a mountain of maps, books, and brochures sent by the National Parks Service over the summer! They’re not just building reading and writing skills—they’re becoming future park experts and protectors!

An update to the Egg Drop Challenge - Dean King participated in the egg drop project with students. Thought it was a valiant effort, he demonstrated that it’s ok to fail sometimes when experimenting. Dean King lost the challenge and coughed up 3 dozen donuts as a prize! We hope you enjoyed your sweet victory!
