NOTICE TO RESIDENTS

As we prepare for the upcoming snow event, the Police Department would like to remind all residents to avoid traveling during the storm whenever possible. If travel is necessary, please yield to Highway Department crews and maintain a safe distance from all snow removal equipment. Remember: If you can’t see their mirrors, they can’t see you.

If you encounter downed power lines, do not drive over them. Seek an alternate route and report the hazard to the proper authorities.

During the storm, please take a moment to check on your neighbors—especially those who may need additional assistance. The Police Department will remain fully staffed and available throughout the storm should you need help.

Stay safe, and thank you for your cooperation.
