We took 7 firefighters to Watertown this week for our annual state fire school. Attached are some pictures from school. The guys took some classes from ropes to auto extrication forcible entry to reading smoke and leadership for officers. We are so fortunate to have the quality instructors along with the state board that finds the instructors and put on such great classes. Big shout out to Watertown Fire for being such a great host and Lake Area Tech for use of a great facility.

Our team ran in to some good competition and we were eliminated in round 3. Good turnout and a lot of teams.

Today Colton fire responded with a dozen members along with four trucks to help Dell Rapids with a structure fire.
