Dear LULAC Friends,

Please vote for me, Dr. Tom Rivera, in Molina Healthcare’s Community Champions Facebook challenge. Inland Empire Future Leaders could win a $1000 grant if I get the most votes! Visit https://www.facebook.com/MolinaHealth to vote in the poll.

I was selected to represent CA in the “2012 Community Champions Facebook Challenge”. All the states within Molina Healthcare have selected a nominee and will be competing for the most Facebook votes on the Molina page . The person with the most votes will get a $1000 grant to donate to his/her nominating agency. Mine is Inland Empire Future Leaders Program.

The contest will go live on Monday, December 10 at 9 am PT and voting will close at 5 pm PT on December 15th. Molina employees will also be voting for Dr. Tom to help California win!

Please encourage your contacts/network to vote. Channels can include:
• Posting a link to the poll on your Facebook fan page and/or personal page
• Emailing CBO(Community Based Organization) employees a link and encouraging them to vote and pass along to friends and family.
• Sending an email to any lists you use for newsletters, etc.
• Posting a link on your website

IEFLP Board Member Felix Zuniga and his wife Martha nominated me for the regional award last April. Now we have a chance for one more $1,000 grant for Future Leaders.
Please help us!

Visit https://www.facebook.com/MolinaHealth to vote in the poll.

We believe everyone should have access to quality health care and our approach has remained the same since day one. We put our members' needs first and treat them like family.

Dear LULAC members and friends,

Due to unforeseen schedule changes, we (LULAC) have had to change our meeting dates. The Gonzales Center will be closed on Monday, October 8,2012. Therefore, we must change our meeting date to Tuesday, October 9,2012, same time 6:00 PM, at the Hutton Center, next door to the Gonzales Center. The same holds true for the month of November. We will meet on Tuesday, November 12,2012, at 6:00 PM at the Hutton Center.

November 11, is a holiday.

Many interesting and exciting presentations are planned for this October’s meeting. The attorney that has accepted to carry out our 501C3 status will be at the meeting.

Daniel Flores is supposed to make a presentation on County of San Bernardino Commission seats.

Wells Fargo Bank said they would make a presentation on home owner mortgages that are “upside Down”, relieve the burden/lower the rate.

These presentatiosn may take up most of the time, however there will be time for “Happy Dollars” which will be open for discussion.

Respectfully,

Joe Olague, President
