The report evaluated the nation's fastest-moving real estate markets, where rising home prices and strong buyer demand continue to drive competition.

Holmdel joins 11 other New Jersey communities on the list, underscoring what residents already know: our Township offers an exceptional quality of life, outstanding schools, beautiful open spaces, thriving local businesses, and convenient access to major transportation corridors.

What an amazing way to celebrate the 250th!

Holmdel Township was proud to take part in the MonmouthNJ 250 Stars & Strides Flag Day 5K and 1-Mile Freedom Walk at Bell Works as we continue to celebrate our nation's 250th anniversary.

Mayor Rocco Impreveduto, Deputy Mayor Committeeman Brian Foster, Holmdel Township , and Committeeman Gary Vanderham joined residents and community members in the race and festivities, commemorating Flag Day while honoring the history, spirit, and patriotism that unite Monmouth County, the Crossroads of the American Revolution!

The event brought together runners, walkers, families, and local leaders for an afternoon of community, fitness, and reflection as we look ahead to America's semiquincentennial.

During my first few weeks in the Assembly, a couple came to meet with Gerry Scharfenberger and me because the husband - who was not a U.S. citizen - discovered he had been registered to vote after obtaining a driver's license through the MVC. They brought it to our attention because they believed it was wrong and wanted it corrected.

That experience reinforced why election integrity matters.

Gerry Scharfenberger and I introduced legislation to require audits of MVC voter registrations, annual reviews of voter rolls, and mandate proof of citizenship before automatic voter registration is offered through the MVC.

A few months ago, I spoke on the Assembly floor in opposition to legislation expanding automatic voter registration without ensuring adequate safeguards to verify citizenship. Reports and investigations like the one highlighted below are exactly why these concerns cannot simply be dismissed. Voting is a legal right reserved for eligible citizens, and the public deserves confidence that our election system is accurate, accountable, and secure.

We are repeatedly told these concerns are unfounded, yet Gerry and I heard directly from constituents who experienced this firsthand. If there is truly no problem, there should be no opposition to commonsense safeguards, audits, and transparency measures designed to protect the integrity of our elections.
