This is why it is important to know who you are voting for in this school board race. These leaders will help decide the future for your children.
What does that look like?
They will decide the curriculum that is used to teach your children. Sounds easy enough, right? I have taught 35 years. There is a difference in curriculum. The leadership will choose research based curriculum that can provide results. But did you know some of those programs like Fountas and Pinnell reading program have a more liberal theme in some of their books?
These leaders will decide the policies for videos shown in their classroom. Many say leave it up to the teacher. I am a teacher and yesterday my students watched a video from Math Antics about order of operations in math. That video and all others are put through a set of procedures for its approval. I believe our schools should be the same.
No political messages in the videos or lessons.
No liberal themes in the videos or lessons or read aloud books.
No lude or pornographic details in required High School English classes.
This is about the focus on education being on teaching skills: reading, writing or communicating, math, problem solving, and thinking.
We are here to partner with the families to create policies that support student’s learning at every stage of their learning growth.
Vote for conservative leaders that have this in mind!

Call it what you want.
It just means the Republican Party rests on conservative values that are consistent with the ideals listed above.
Three candidates have not watered down these values by partnering with other candidates with different values.
We are returning education decision-making to where it belongs: in the hands of parents, teachers, and local leaders. 🇺🇸
