Keep an eye on your mailbox! You’ll be receiving a letter from the Jefferson Center Fire Department about our fundraiser to help buy vital safety equipment for our firefighters.

Your donation—just $35 or more—can make a big difference. Every gift helps us stay prepared to protect you and your loved ones.

As a thank you, families who donate will receive a free 8x10 family portrait (pets welcome too!).

Checks can be made out to the Jefferson Center Fire Department and mailed using the envelope included in your letter.

BIG NEWS FROM FEMA THIS MORNING!!

The Jefferson Center Fire Department and the Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department were awarded $280,000 in FEMA grant money for SCBA’s.

This award is open to all departments in the United States who chose to apply. The grant is a 10% department match; this is HUGE when it comes to department funding as each SCBA is about $8,500/per SCBA!

Both departments will be updating not only technology, but the latest safety requirements set by NFPA.

Tonight we placed two new Zoll AED’s in service to replace our Philips AED’s. The AED’s are compatible with the Zoll Monitor’s and will lead to better patient care without the downtime of switching AED pads.

Out with the old and in with the new!

Tonight we placed 6 new sets of Morning Pride turnout gear in service for our members.
Our turnout gear has a 10 year life, and we decided to make some noticeable changes to our new gear!

We are having our annual breakfast on April 30th from 7:00-1:00!

This year, we will be raffling off a 36” Blackstone Griddle! Our members will start selling tickets beginning April 10.

We look forward to seeing you April 30th at Crossroad Inn!
